The Lutheran Home has cared for older adults in Wauwatosa since 1906. Its North Avenue campus is a nonprofit hub for skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation with physical, occupational, and speech therapy, and memory care assisted living, including the Elaine’s Hope memory care community that opened in 2020. Sister campus Harwood Place, on Harwood Avenue, adds independent and assisted living. The organization also runs an adult day program and an on-site child care center, which brings generations together. Call to arrange a tour.
